It only took a month to achieve.<\/p>\n<h2>Stats during 3 weeks<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>Had 1 job while searching for a job.<\/li>\n<li>Received 20+ emails from unknown recruiters<\/li>\n<li>Contacted 8 recruiters<\/li>\n<li>Applied to 10 jobs<\/li>\n<li>Had 7 phone interviews<\/li>\n<li>Went on 4 on-site interviews<\/li>\n<li>3 rejections, 1 offer<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Here are some notes I picked up along the way.<\/p>\n<h2>Resume<\/h2>\n<p>&#8211; Have a Word copy of your resume ready.<br \/>\nRecruiter will want this so they can spell check and format your resume using their company&#8217;s template.<br \/>\n&#8211; For each job in your resume, list the technology you used. Also, provide a summary of your experience in the summary section of your resume.<br \/>\n&#8211; Make your resume easy to find online for two reasons.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>sometimes the recruiter will lose it and ask you to resend it.<\/li>\n<p>When that happened to me, I just told them to google <a href=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/?gws_rd=ssl#q=Larry+Battle+Resume+indeed.com\">&#8220;Larry Battle Resume indeed.com&#8221;<\/a>.<\/p>\n<li>People will contact about job postings.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&#8211; Ask for feedback about your resume, then update it immediately.<br \/>\n&#8211; <a href=\"http:\/\/indeed.com\">Indeed.com<\/a> is the best hub to post your resume.
